About Me

CURRENT MISSION

TO ESTABLISH A SUSTAINABLE BOHEMIAN EXISTENCE

ABOUT ME

So I am both a cynic and an idealist at the same time. And I am pretty okay with ambivalence. I am the sort others would say that I am so open-minded my brain falls out.

I LOVE travelling and I take pride in being versatile enough to feel at home anywhere in the world. I am also okay with testing the limits of that statement. I love movies but more than that I love an intelligent discussion about movies. Anything from film analysis to how national rhetoric is shaped by movies. (Pet peeve: People who pronounce films as filems)

I love going to plays, prose and poetry recitals and anything in relation to human expression. We talk about giving Singapore an artistic voice but there's no point if no one is going to listen to it. I am born and bred in Singapore.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well I have creeped on CS for about a few years now. I occasionally go to the CS meet ups in my area.

I have heard so many amazing stories that I have decided to throw caution to the wind and try for it myself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well.. one accidental couchsurfing experience occurred that was not facilitated by this site. Someone I met at the hostel offered his couch to me and it was amazing good fun. I hung out with his uni friends.

I say that was the best trip I have ever been on. I personally believe that I must always seek something outside the ordinary tourist experience.
