Teach, Learn, Share

As a participant of the Burning Man community, I try to incorporate the principals of Burning Man into my daily life as much as I can. Here are a few ways that I do that which help shape me into the awesome houseguest that I am! :

-Radical Inclusion: Anyone can be a part of Burning Man, and in an effort to make as many friends and connections as possible, anyone can be a part of my life! I'm always willing and ready to meet new people and hopefully build new friendships.

-Radical Self-reliance: Burning Man encourages me to discover, exercise and rely on my inner resources. I will take care of myself!

-Radical Self-expression: Radical self-expression arises from the unique gifts of the individual. No one other than the individual or a collaborating group can determine its content. I allow everyone to be themselves around me, freely, openly, and to the fullest extent. I love all people and all types!

-Gifting: The value of a gift is unconditional. Gifting does not contemplate a return or an exchange for something of equal value. It it something freely given, and gift giving is something personal that I love doing!

-Communal Effort: I values creative cooperation and collaboration. I strive to produce, promote and protect social networks, public spaces, works of art, and methods of communication that support such interactions.

-Participation: I believe that transformative change, whether in an individual or in society, can occur only through the medium of deeply personal participation. We achieve being through doing. Everyone is invited to work. Everyone is invited to play. We make the world real through actions that open the heart.

-Leaving No Trace: I respect the environment. I am committed to leaving no physical trace of my activities wherever I go. I clean up after myself and endeavor, whenever possible, to leave such places in a better state than when I found them.
