ABOUT ME

I've had a lot of great experiences in the last few years and hope to have many more. I value integrity, love, service, fun and genuine friendships. I love to explore new places, meet new people and hear new perspectives on life. I live in Chicago and coordinate youth programs. I used to live in Arequipa, Peru working with the greatest kids in the world, and I left half my heart there.

PHILOSOPHY

Do what you're good at, be the absolute best at it that you can, always seek personal growth, and "do no harm" (which is harder than it seems).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to host if I can! We seem to have of out-of-town friends and relatives staying with us often, on top of busy schedules, so we don't host as much as we'd like to. And I still have never attended a Chicago CS event though I always mean to.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Joined to meet people while living in Spain, met a few people in India and Peru, and have hosted and surfed at home in the US

Standing on my roof watching thousands of Arequipeños setting off airborne fireworks from their homes at the stroke of midnight, Christmas 2012.
