I like to involve myself with lots of activities and communities without defining myself by any of them. My focus is music but I'm also passionate about activism, working with youth, collaborating with all kinds of artists, cooking, yoga, meditation, and travel. I like laughing, and only taking the things seriously that need to be.

I love meeting people that are passionate experiencers like me!

Music, Movies, and Books

Naomi Klein's books, No Logo, and The Shock Doctrine, are incredible. I like lots of political books and reading The Nation Magazine. I like really well-acted, intelligent movies, and all kinds of music, including hip hop, electronic, bhangra, some indie stuff, 90's rock, and folk.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A trip to Palestine and Israel really transformed me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a lot about cooking, and also want to learn more about it. Chefs welcome!! I am trying to become fluent in Spanish, so Spanish speakers, be prepared to speak Spanish with me. I'm also interested in political movements and organizing, both learning and teaching. I'm open to learning lots of stuff, and sometimes realize that I know more than I think I do, and am always happy to share.

I now knit as well, though not in a terribly sophisticated way, so I'm happy to teach the basics or learn the hard stuff.

My partner and I have been doing lots of African drumming. He's more knowledgeable about it than me, but we LOVE drumming with others.
