To learn about the places that I've read about in books and experience as much as possible. I am young and free of responsibilities now so I want to take advantage of that by being curious, aware, and brave.

ABOUT ME

Hey! I'm a first-year student in UNCW'S Creative Writing MFA program focusing on nonfiction. I haven't explored much of the US, so that's my goal for this year. I lived in Budapest, Hungary for a year after college to teach English and couch-surfed for the first time in Paris. That was back in 2013, andI'd love to try it again since it was such a memorable experience. I'm a writer, runner, reader, and animal-lover. I'm especially interested in learning new languages!

PHILOSOPHY

If you have integrity in whatever you are doing, it is always good and purposeful. Also, live for yourself and not what society tells you to live for.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't yet begun using couchsurfers but I would like to use this website to see new places in a more accessible way and through the eyes of a native person. I would like to surf mostly, as I will be leaving Europe soon. Although once I'm back in the states, I can host travelers!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moving to Budapest from the United States. Also-- I got a Turkish bath in Istanbul this past April. It was bizarre and it'll happen again.
