About Me

Ever changing, ever adaptable.

My name is Rachel Boese, I also go by Rachel Evil because Boese means evil in German and it’s easier to spell. I’m a natural redhead. I was born in New Orleans and I like to always put a little of the flair the city is known for into everything I do. I am building my Evil Empire.

I'm married and very happy. We have 2 sons, born on 4-21-2011 and 11-28-12 and a daughter born on 1-10-15. We also have a 13 year old Siberian Husky/Malamute mix named Howard.

I kick it with gutter punks, geniuses, hobos and musicians. I love life and I love learning. I refuse to ever fall into the daily "grind" that so many people have.

If you're interested in buying me anything, I will accept gifts, you can view my Amazon wishlist here: http://amzn.com/w/2DGW9G9M36XZL

My best friend and business partner Beth and I created Belladonna’s Cupboard. We are a cruelty free, vegan, gluten free and paraben free punk rock cosmetics company for Crazy Bitches.

Another project I've been working on for a year as of Spring 2015 is renovating the KANSAS CITY WORKHOUSE CASTLE. We are working on restoring this historic landmark and hopefully along with it, revitalizing the 18th and Vine St music district in which it resides. Kansas City used to be knows as The Paris of the Plains. In the 1920's it was the place to be, more so than Paris, New York, New Orleans of Chicago. Kansas City was the go between for the JAZZ scene between New Orleans and Chicago and because of Mayor Tom Pendergast prohibition wasn't enforced in Kansas City. Liqour flowed freely and burlesque houses and pleasure houses abounded. Kansas City has a long and varied history that its leaders have tried to suppress over time. I think that a city's history is what makes it unique and drives tourism and the economy. The Kansas City Workhouse Castle will be a community center, accessible community garden, outdoor event space, free internet cafe and eventually, the home to several local businesses. We are partnering with Aftershock Live Music Venue to put on a series of live concerts this summer and Verizon Amphitheater has donated our lighting and dozens of tickets to give away and raffle off to various shows this summer at Sandstone. 2ormore.org is the non-profit that acquired the castle, 2ormore's mission is community development for 20-35 year olds, a largely overlooked demographic. Down the line, the castle will partner with a number of local food banks and pantries and we plan to partner with some of the tech startups in Kansas City to offer a free laptop program through our internet cafe space to homeless, low income and at risk youth and also teach coding for free. To learn more about how to be a part of this project or to donate money go to www.2ormore.org

I also enjoy doing fx makeup and photography. http://www.modelmayhem.com/1244608

I'm open to collaborating on fetish and fashion shoots.
My rates are very reasonable and I'll do TF if I like the concept enough.
I believe in life long education, not in the classroom, but because knowledge is power. We live in an age where almost the entirety of knowledge known to mankind is available at the click of a button, at the tapping of a touchscreen, in the palm of our hand. Yet, most of us never look to that potential in the palm of our hands to the problems at hands in our lives. I think that all solutions are within reach and all problems are solvable. Sometimes you have to think about things differently and sometimes you have to step outside of your comfort zone.

While I can and do adapt to many different situations, I have been known to put on wigs and business suits because I do believe that part of effective communication and selling is meeting people on their terms and Dale Carnegie is my hero. I prefer to wear bright colors, edgy symbolism and weird hair.I literally pick things out of the Christmas and Halloween sections meant to decorate a home and adorn my hair and body with them. I love it. I love looking different. I can’t imagine why with the endless possibilities before us, the majority of us wear the same cuts and fabrics and styles. To me, that seems very boring. I don’t like boring. I believe in self expression. When I go to an event and speak about my cosmetics company and walk up looking like I look on an average Tuesday, usually the entrepreneurial crowd is pretty open minded. While I enjoy that welcome reception from like minded individuals, I enjoy morethe handful of individuals that come up to me afterwards saying that while they had a terrible first impression of me because of my physical appearance. With my dread wig, tentacles in my hair, rob zombie top under my blazer, they tell me that I changed their minds because of the way I carried myself. I changed their minds because I spoke professionally, competently and confidently and I spoke about self expression. I spoke about how it shouldn’t matter what your age, race, size, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation or personal style is, you as a person, still deserve respect. It is ludicrous to me that any of these things should matter, personal style included if an individual is professional, polite and competent at what they are doing. Do tattoos or piercings make a person unable to perform their job as well as the next person? Or is the hindrance a burden that society has placed on them arbitrarily based on prejudice? I think it’s the latter. I love opening people’s minds up. I like connecting people with ideas and solutions. #selfexpressionrevolution

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are in the middle of starting a new adventure. We will be in Texas for part of the summer, then transitioning out to Los Angeles full time. We will be back in KC often. Will update on here once we are established. *UPDATE! WE HAVE HAD A REALLY ROCKY TIME SINCE MOVING TO LOS ANGELES IN OCTOBER. WE WERE ILLEGALLY KICKED OUT OF OUR APARTMENT 6 DAYS AFTER MOVING IN, DESPITE PAYING A DEPOSIT AND FULL MONTH UP FRONT, THE COPS BACKED UP THE CROOKED LANDLORD(WHO WASN'T REALLY THE LANDLORD BUT ILLEGALLY SUBLETTING) AND WE DIDN'T GET OUR MONEY BACK. We are still homeless and bouncing around looking for permanent housing after 4 months! If you know anyone who can host a family of 6 or is looking for renters ALMOST anywhere in the country, reach out to me. We have stable income.
