About Me

Lover of potlucks, the arts, meaningful conversation and red wine (preferably all at once). Happiest in the woods or in a café. More to the 'calm, cool and collected' end of the spectrum; a people-person cherishing the small (and contemplating the big) things in life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people in a genuine way. I believe giving and receiving the gift of hospitality has the power to shape community and change our world. There is a beautiful element of vulnerability—a common humanity—in opening up our lives to strangers and being willing to be changed by our experiences with others.

Couchsurfing experience - I've surfed a few times (U.S., Iceland, Germany, France) and it has always been a positive experience! Sadly I'm not currently in a position to be a host, but nonetheless I am eager to keep connecting with hosts and surfers.
