I am a 23-year-old high school math and art teacher, from Alberta, Canada. My personality has 3 main aspects: athletic, academic and artistic! I've played sports all my life and love to be involved in athletics. I absolutely love to learn and consider myself to be a bit of a math/science nerd. I also love to draw, paint and exercise my creativity. One thing that I've started to pursue more in my life is travel and cultural exchange - I am excited for my future travels. Norway was at the top of my list for years so I am happy to be in Scandinavia this summer! In the future I'd love to experience many other beautiful mountainous European countries (Germany, Austria, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Slovenia, back to Switzerland and France, and MORE). New Zealand is high up on my list of destinations as well!

One of the most appealing aspects of travelling to me is the opportunity to meet tons of wonderful, exciting people! I think Couchsurfing seems like an amazing way to do that! And what better way to explore a new country/city than with locals who can offer a unique experience!

Couchsurfing has been such an amazing travel experience for me. I owe some of the most amazing experiences of my life to the wonderful couchsurf hosts I've stayed with. I would recommend it to everyone I know.

As I mentioned already, I'm a HUGE fan of sports and physical activity, I'm a BIG math/science nerd, and I LOVE creating art. I also love spending time with nature and socializing with other wonderful people!

3 day hiking trip with 7 other couchsurfers! We slept under the Matterhorn, made it to 3052 m and did some level 4 via ferrata.

I'm really easygoing and flexible so if hosts want to spend time together I can share my time, and my positive personality, as well as anything they'd like to know about me :) On the other hand, I don't mind if hosts are preoccupied or uninterested in spending time together. I do love to socialize, but I would never be offended. I know what it's like to be busy in life.
