Hey, I'm Rachelle a 21 year old who grew up on the very isolated Kangaroo Island, which is just of the coast of South Australia. Although I loved growing up in the country I have always wanted to do and see so much more. I moved off the island straight after completing my schooling and have been working to pay for my travel since then. In 2014 I did a contiki tour of Europe with one of my friends and next on the list is Canada.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My best mate Jesse and I are travelling Canada, we plan to work and travel to see and experience as much as we can. Even if you cant offer accommodation, advice and work connections would be much appreciated.

Interests

My main two interests would be travelling (obviously) and sport. As I grew up on Kangaroo Island we quickly figured out if you wanted to socialise that sport was a must. So in winter I played netball, summer meant basketball and for two years the boys even convinsed me to play in there criecket team to make up numbers, although I think they regreated that once they figured out I was not going to be good at it. Basketball has been the sport of choice though, currently playing in a mixed social team which is a blast.
