About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To continue to learn and share the fine art of living through ayurveda and yoga. I seek a magic place to make a nest, journeying to explore unseen and favorite places, remaining open to the unknown and unexpected. I am writing a book about life process and working to support my educational and travel goals.

ABOUT ME

Compassionate, caring, peaceful, and silly, I have a powerful spirit and energetic quality that shines in my enthusiasm. I love to dance, sing, play, pray, meditate, travel in nature, and worship the sun and want to share this with others. I am outgoing, kind, sweet, and polite. I relish a great meal and love to eat organic, fresh food -- I can cook and share with you!

PHILOSOPHY

We are all in this life together. Let's support, inspire, encourage, and motivate each other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

After hosting many travelers in Colorado while I was grounded there for a long time, I took to the road in 2013 in search of a new home. This led me to join the Couchsurfing community, and I hope to broaden my travels in this manner although I have been traveling in this style in the old-fashioned pre-internet word-of-mouth kind of way throughout the years.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted many travelers, providing beds, showers, and meals and loving the sharing experience. I find a lot of joy in sharing with others and the exchange of helping each other out. I have slept in luxury homes while taking care of pets, in storage rooms, lofts, warehouses, tents, and in my car. I am very self sufficient but truly enjoy the company of others and a nice hot shower! Since I am extremely responsible, reliable, and trustworthy, I have many references as a house sitter, caretaker, and pet sitter, too!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On my 18th birthday, I hiked the Grand Canyon with my family, and the trip changed my life and motivated my ongoing travels and adventures in nature. Eventually spending the past 20 years in the American West, the Rocky Mountains became the crucible for numerous passions -- tree hugging, hiking, camping, running, telemark skiing and mountain biking, among others. On my most recent birthday, backpacking down into the Black Canyon of the Gunnison River was the raddest experience of them all!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a lifelong learner, always in the process of education, a gentle soul who enjoys peaceful time with like-minded folks. Can you teach me guitar? Sailing? Or practice slacklining with me? I would love to share my knowledge of yoga and art. I would be honored to learn from you and know that I will learn something, especially from those unlike me! As an artist, I see the life's everyday moments as art, and I believe I have much to offer in conversation, intellectual stimulation, and inspiration on living as a part of nature. With the amazing array of experience behind me, I can offer many services to others.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Known for cleanliness, I am happy to help clean up around the house and cook for you. Do you need any editing or proofreading? I have done both professionally for many years and am glad to share my expertise. How about a yoga lesson? I am now a certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor, so after gathering details about you, I can suggest lifestyle, nutrition, yoga, and herbs to better your health and total wellbeing.
