ABOUT ME

Hey my name's Rachel - I've just returned from 15 months away from the UK, exploring India, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Cambodia with one of my best friends MJ. We worked in Bangkok from June to September 2014 and then explored Northern Thailand before we headed our separate ways for a month - me down to Eastern Malaysia and to the Philippines, and MJ to Vietnam.

UPDATE: I'm back in the UK until early April when I'll be heading to Tenerife for 8 weeks to work as an au pair and English teacher!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Me and MJ couch surfed three times since we began travelling, in Mumbai, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. We've also been involved with the couch surfing meet ups in Kuala Lumpur - a city that we absolutely love.

We've couch surfed 3 times since we began travelling, in Mumbai, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. I have also couchsurfed in Manchester, UK since returning.

It really depends on a lot of things.. my favourite is always changing.

However on any given day I will always love folk music, horror movies and historic/travel writing.
