ABOUT ME

Humm, What to say about myself? I am an advertising major, Hispanic studies minor at UNC- Chapel Hill. However, this semester from January to July I will be studying abroad in Sevilla, Spain. My friends would probably describe me as weird, but in a good way.

I love to dance and in highschool I took ballet, tap, jazz and pointe lessons and loved it. I kind of stopped with it in college, so now most of the dancing I do is shakin it at in the club or honestly more often, in my room. As for other activities I do, or try to do, for a while I thought I would really like to take up running. Unfortunately, every time I listen to music while I run i just want to choreograph dances instead. Sometimes it helps me run farthur...sometimes I end up almost running into a pole while lost in thought.

Another thing I love to do but am not that great at is geocaching. It is like treasure huntin without the treasure. You look for little boxes people hide in various locations around the world guided by a clue and gps coordinates. http://www.geocaching.com/ Might add a little excitement to your hike.

I really want to see more of the world, but not just see it, experience it. That is why I decided to look into couch surfing. When you are traveling it can be hard to really meet people and get a real feel for the place. That is why I think couch surfing is so great. It offers a more interactive experience when traveling the world.

I watch my fair share of movies. However, some of my favorites are: Good Will Hunting, Love Actually, The Green Mile, and I have watched so many others I can't think of anything at the moment. In general though I am a fan of kids movies. Not sure why.

Trash books are my guilty pleasure, but I do read books of a higher caliber also. Love Harry Potter, Water for Elephants, A Million Little Pieces, The Kite Runner, etc.

Teach: Well I can teach English and a bit of Spanish. Should you need more ways to procrastinate, I am skilled at finding interesting websites that can take you away from your real responsibilities. I also can show you lots of funny youtube videos. Or what I consider to be funny youtube videos.

Learn: I would love to learn different types of dance, especially partner dancing.
