Sobre mí

CURRENT MISSION

Spend a year - 2013 - traveling the world, learning how to farm, dance, discover wonder, and live into the question of what best to do to be in service to the planet at this crucial time.

ABOUT ME

Childlike sense of wonder. Attention to detail and tidiness. Lover of life and adventure. Resilient and thoughtful. Good at playing the kazoo, not so good at whistling. Likes to make quiches, new friends, and an end to warfare. A traveler of determined purpose seeking to try out carefree traveling.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed in Amsterdam and it was a great adventure. And I've partied with couchsurfers in Rio. Originally heard about it from my friend who worked for Couchsurfing from Thailand. Love the global community feel!

Intereses

Surfing, Yoga, Hiking, being near the ocean, activism (anti-war, economic justice, environmental, mainly), poetry, and meeting new people... like you!

Algo increíble que he hecho

February 15, 2003, one decade ago: millions of people all over the world marching to try to prevent the US invasion of Iraq. Incredible to see so many people allied behind peace.

Eclipses, my first loaf of gluten-free challah actually rose in the oven, riding my bike for the first time as a kid without training wheels, seeing Yosemite valley covered in snow (and imagining I was with Ansel Adams and trying to capture it all in a million shades of grey), having a best friend commitment ceremony at burning man right before the temple burned, the way New Yorkers rallied to help each other in the aftermath of hurricane sandy, studying at the biosphere in arizona, and scuba diving in the red sea. Also mundanely awe-some things like picking out bell peppers at the farmer's market or the smell of the laundromat or sipping my favorite tea (rose chai) or finding broken sand dollars on the beach.
