About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to explore the world, improve my Spanish, meet people with like interests
ABOUT ME
I'm very hospitable when friends from other countries needs help in Taiwan & love to introduce our cultures to them. Except for having not much sense of directions, I think I'm a good amateur tour guide in Taipei, because I've been living here for 7 years since I was 18.
This spring, from April to May, I was traveling Spain & France. I visited a friend in Paris whom I met in Taipei for the 1st time with his CS friend, who was also my CS guest. I showed them around in Taipei just for a few times last year, but he remembered me & he & his friends helped me a lot when I traveled in Paris this May.(This French friend now is studying Mandarin in Taipei so luckily I'm able to return his favors.)
After travelling, I returned to Madrid from Paris to study Spanish & rented flat with my CS hosts who have hosted me for 5 days in April when we met for the 1st time in Madrid. It was a great memory bcos they & their friends, family all treated me very well & friendly.
I'm very lucky to have met them & spent great time with them in Paris & Madrid. In order to return their favors, I want to activate my CS account again & help other strangers as well.
PHILOSOPHY
Carpe Diem=seize the day. To cherish every moment I have everyday, to do what I want & dream as early as possible, because we don't know what might happen tomorrow.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hosted people & show them around in Taipei (less than 10 people)& was hosted in Madrid for 2 times.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
At the beginning I only hosted people or showed them around in Taipei. Afterwards I was hosted & helped by CSers in Madrid. Madrid is a very friendly city to foreigners. I feel welcomed there. The people there is just like Taiwanese, very nice to foreigners.
Interests
Fine art, food & architecture are my passions. I'm a museum goer & love to see exhibitions, architecture, & watch performances. Since I was enrolled in English Department at university, foreign Languages have become a very important part of my life. Besides English, I took courses of Spanish in college for 3 years & keep learning it myself now after working. I'm also a fan of French movies, novels, & music. Besides above, the thing that I enjoy now is playing badminton games at every weekend :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
joining CS :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach Chinese & English, & maybe show u some Taiwanese culture.
I can also teach people how to make easy clothes but I don't have sewing machine at my flat now. If u're interested in the process of mass production of ready-to-wear, I can also give u a rough concept from what I learned at work.
My dad is a horticulturist, so I know a bit about how to raise common plants & flowers.
