ABOUT ME

HI THERE!

I'm Rachel, originally from Birmingham but now dwell in Leeds Land! I work in bars (yes more than one boohoo) which though i like i hope to be a temporary situation until i save enough money to do something more exciting! or at least work in bars in a different place!

I spend most of my spare time trying to catch up with friends, and generally hanging out with people! making meals together, wandering about town, going to bars and gigs, going to galleries, going on day adventures, - stanndaarrrdddddd things! :D

I really like music, lots of different types, but mainly "alt" which could be anything from acoustic indie to metal theres good and bad to everything i believe! I like going to a lot of small (and cheap!) gigs in the area DIY style shows - which there are a lot of in Leeds-YAY!

I like going to bars, and trying new drinks-, i love working in bars and like checking out other places, local pubs, anywhere weird, original and unique, not really a fan of wetherspoons style places where there are 20 in one city, or big chains of pubs and clubs.

I am also an artist, or try to be, so i like going tom art galleries, and museums, and places, and generally to be a bit sensitive and sentimental!

oh yes- and i HATE having my photo taken, which is why my picture are as they are!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have couchsurfed when i went travelling with my friend Jess one Summer- and had a great experience! Being shown around by people who know the city is so better than fumbling round tourist attractions and souvenir shops, and i hope to host people at some stage too. Leeds (and Birmingham too!) is a great city so would love to show people around and make them love it like i do! YAAAAY
