I am from South Africa and am currently on a gap year of travelling and exploring places and discovering all types of fantastic cities and people. I am a very easy going , HAPPY-go-lucky person , man you could brighten my day up with a smile. I adore people and also I also love to listen and laugh easily. I admire different languages and I also try to learn some along the way. My french is actually not that bad and I used to speak Portuguese too (my family lived in Brazil for a couple of years) , so I can still follow when somebody is speaking . I like to think that I'm a humoristic person and also very positive and optimistic. I believe that dreams and hopes are very realistic and should be pursued as life really is too short to not to be doing what makes you happy and others in turn. (Chilche' but true :) )

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I have been travelling for the past year , mostly working in Belgium and then when I have off , I travel to different countries and explore a few places I've never been or would like to get to know better. I guess , to be completely honest , I couchsurf because I want to save the most of my money for transit purposes (bus,plane,etc.) , which as we know is probably the most expensive. In exchange for a bed ( or even a floor) , I'll share interesting life experiences and hopefully hear a couple too . One might even say , I repay in friendship and laughter :) and of course when you're in S.A one day , you'll most certainly have a bed too ! Couchsurfing I believe is also a great way to get to learn more people that possibly share the same interests (like travelling) ,but also have a different world view because of our colourful backrounds. It's a fantastic system ,really .

TRAVELLING( DUH) , learning new languages , people and their thoughts and behavior , FOOD ,singing and music, making food , ingesting food.... movies and series , the clean serenity of nature , the crazy bustle of the city, reading (sci-fi/fantasy/filosophy) if I have time, beer , comedy.

I like a wide range of genres considering music . Some include indie , folk , ska , punk , classic rock and roll , edm like deep house, some old ass jazz and ragtimes, choral music ... etc.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I quit studying medicine because I wasn't sure that it was my passion , packed up ,left and traveled for a year ever since . I have not looked back and it was probably the best decision of my life so far .

I've tried touching my nose with my tongue , but I have yet to succeed.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I would like to teach people the limitless beauty of life if you know where to seek it .
I would like to learn to listen to my own advice.
And last and most importantly , "happiness is only true if shared" - think about it.
