About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make it to the wedding on time!

ABOUT ME

I am an alright kind of girl. Bit of a space cadet at times but not in a bad way I think. I like meeting people, and learning about people. I guess thats my passion in life. Quite simply people coz they are the most interesting thing on the planet in my opinion. Thats about all really.

PHILOSOPHY

Try to put yourself in other people's shoes. Universal!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Don't do so much at the moment, but was quite active in Munich. Might be able to host but it's quite difficult with a houseshare. I have a bit of time at the moment to show people around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had the joy of staying with a lovely guy in Hokkaido for two days with my friend. It was very nice!!! Then a girl from Finland came to stay with me for a few days. I showed her more fo the regular day to day life of the Japanese countryside and very much enjoyed doing so. I then travelled the northern parts of Japan, staying with some lovely people. All in all it has been a great experience so far.

Interests

Playing taiko , people, music, children, art.

Music, Movies, and Books

Any music with some heart and soul. I can read anything but particularly like books which take me to another place, things like that. Fave movie is Edward Scissorhands. I love Tim Burton films.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed fuji with one of the most amazing girls I have ever met and played my flute while she danced. Been to so many great festivals in japan and een performed in a few with taiko and yosakoi (drums and dance). Accidentally had lunch with a room full of yakuza. Drank to my hearts content at Oktoberfest.

Teach, Learn, Share

We can teach and learn through sharing our experiences in life. Wow I got all words in one sentence. I can also teach Japanese language and culture (I lived there for moe than 4 years) and of course help with your English.
