One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Held my ground around 11PM when within 5 inches of a female Russel's Saw-Scaled Viper in Thar Desert (middle of nowhere. no lights. nothing.) on a hike.

Thar Desert is in Rajasthan, India.

A female has twice the toxicity in her venom than a male.
Russel's Saw-Scaled Viper is one of the BIG FOUR members in India.

This one in particular was about 8 feet and more venomous than a cobra.
