Hei!
My name is Radek. My family come from Pomerania. Now it belongs to north-west part of Poland. My hometown is called Darłowo (Rugenwalde) and its famous of being royal town of King Erik of Pomerania (1381- 1459). He was King of Norway, Denmark and Sweden. When I was a kid I was reading a lot about him and thats how I started to interested in scandinavic countries, mainly Norway. Also Olav Tryggvason from Tronheim established village called Jomsborg in Pomerania and viking themes and history are very popular in place of my childhood. When I was teenager I've joined to the viking reenactment group and start playing music in a band, which is mix of black, viking and folk metal. Later when I started to study architecture I moved to Trondheim to continue my studies at the NTNU and currently I'm living in this beutiful city.
I'm volunteering here in student cabin in Bymaka called Studenterhytta. We have there a lot of guest, foreign students, people from Norway, students Of NTNU and other universities. It is great place for meeting people, share experience etc. We have also a lot of NTUi cabin around Trondheim where we doing trips. I love to hike and to ski. I admire north, norwegian landscapes and nature. When I have time I'm volunteering during the metal and viking festivals.
My hobbies inlcude also bodybuilding, healthy lifestyle, diet and hard workouts. I forgot to mention that I'm doing some pencil drawings of nature, castles etc...and I'm sport masseur too...and guitar plater ( trying to learn piano as well).
I have released some CD's with my two bands already. I'm trying to find time to play hockey as well but its hard to find time for everything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love nature and I want to explore north landscapes. I also want to meet people, share my experiences and passions. I'm taking part in viking reenactment, I'm attending viking festivals in Poland and Norway. As a fan of music I'm often volunteering during the metal festivals in Norway and these are the main reasons I'm on couchsurfing.
I'm I hope that thanks to couchsurfing I'll be able to volunteering more during the festivals, meeting more people and exploring new places !
