About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To sing, to laugh like the sails and touch like the waters

ABOUT ME

I see more and less and I wonder if I should laugh or worry. I like snaps shots that ink onto paper and I like laying near the water while trains roar and rumble. Too much relates, and I see the universe always responding, even through the use of me. I think of all as alive and don't believe human-life is the standard by which to gauge life itself. We are all happening. I dream and long for what I will someday be

PHILOSOPHY

I don't really enjoy Why questions and how questions are so brilliant that I often laugh uncontrollably. Personal love of wisdom, i have no idea.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like something different everyday. I love making rediculous jookes. I like uncovering the implications of a word by looking at its construction Con-Struct(ure)-ion. Structure isn't inherent? Ah but it is? Thus the oddities arise.

Music! I like it when others laugh because of me. I like tall grasses and clean water. Things come together

Interests

To me it seems that an interest is something that develops over a long span of time with varying peaks of intense interest. I can really enjoy being with other people, telling stories, creating a language between us and a way of seeing the world. I like to draw and paint and cook. It's not the activity that makes my life engaging, it's being aware and alive that makes things engaging, I like trying new things, not only do I learn more of what is possible but I learn more about what I already "know".

I spend my time in so many different ways, I have been traveling and living different life styles for two years now. I've lived in Nepal, lived as a sailor on a tall ship down the western coast of the US, worked as a live in caretaker, lived in my car on a seven month trip around the US. I live life and work diligently to be aware of what my efforts and the world is creating in myself.

First Aid Kit, Buttercup, Shanties, Banjo.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There was a walk I took in Nepal down a hillside into a cornfield, the night was black and for an eternal moment I could see a kind of sameness as the fireflies flickered like the hillside house lights and the dark terrain blended with the boundless night sky, for a moment standing on that muddy dirt road I knew so deeply that I stood on a perch in the universe.

I hiked an active volcano in Guatemala in 2008. Whilst climbing toward the peak, which tumbled crackly lava, we crossed through a serene field lush with a kind of life I may have never felt before or since. The grass was a glowing soft green, the trees felt light with an etherial air and as I clambered over a large dried river of lava I thought for certain I was in a Dr.Seuss book or that a mythical creature would soon appear.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know how to whistle and once taught someone in a darkened library on the side of a mountain. I'm always up for trying to teach this!
Focus brings a lot into being?
I hear a lot when someone speaks.
I want to learn to be unabashed in creation
