Hi. I'm Rafa. Born and raised in Chiapas, Mexico but I moved to Puebla to study Architecture (I take lots of pics to buildings and monuments in my travels).

I'm always keen on traveling meeting people and having unforgettable experiences that open my mind and give me a brighter perspective of the world. Everybody always has interesting stories to tell.

Biking, among drawing, hiking and reading are my top passions, once mentioned it, I consider myself as an easy going person who enjoys outdoors activities and hanging out with people. I just want to enjoy life at the fullest

Philosophy:
Don't wait for an opportunity to come, life goes away waiting, create the opportunity and take it right away.

I would prefer to be happy and exhausted because I did what I wanted to, rather than serious and with expectations for not having done anything at all.

Always look ahead, don't get stuck in a moment .
like to discover a place in a less touristic and more original way with a native host. So far I mainly stayed in hostels, went camping or stayed at a friends place when visiting different countries and cities, but I can't wait to stay with and host people from around the world through couchsurfing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think of Couchsurfing as an opportunity to create a cultural bond with people from various nationalities that through their experiences can make the travel more interesting. Meeting new people is an excellent way of enjoying life.

In addition, I'd love to do things off the beaten path, I mean to discover places and doing things less touristic and more original.

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to books and movies, I'm mostly passionate on Sci-Fi, Fantasy and mistery. Though I like reading s bit of everything and always try to investigate new stuff.

My musical taste normally consist of rock (indie, electro and alternative) but I also enjoy other generes no matter what, ( I try not to focus only in a single gender). So I accept suggestions for bands, songs or albums you find interesting

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Reached the summit at the Toluca snowing mountain, the 4th highest mountain in Mexico when I hardly had any experience on hiking.

Camped in a Canadian forest and being awaken one morning by a deer passing by our tent . In that same place, I had a blast doing whitewater kayak with my family.
