About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learn with the people, because I believe in the people. And thats pretty much enough to make thing happen!

ABOUT ME

You know those times and you wanna do something? You wanna feel alive? Thats how I'm trying to live my life. Of course, minding the consequences, but still hearing to yourself and only inner voice. I rarely will mind the media world, rather I just let things flow to me. I believe in the undefinable energy people have, which some value it more than others, but, personally, I try to put mine onto everything passes through me. By that, I mean, talking, hearing, cooking, playing, laughing, dancing, drinking(a bit), singing and all other humane stuff :)

PHILOSOPHY

Always be honest with yourself and others, lying to yourself is the worst kind of lie. Don't live long just to exist. Exist to live. All you need, is all you got.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to the project actually, I havent knew of its existence yet. As I brazilian I love hosting foreigners, they're always welcome, when I get back home they'll definitely be. When CSing in other peoples houses, I'd love to help cooking! Telling and hearing stories, learning are great things for me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, through CouchSurf.org I havent had any yet. But I'll very soon. At my place I have received a North-American guy and it was very pleasent both for him and for me to take him to the nice places, talking and all that kind of stuff... At August me and my family will be hosting an Australian friend of ours, I reckon it will be a nice as experience.

Interests

Interests... Thats a hard question. The only big thing I'm interested in trips is to let the it happen. Let life surprise me. Parties, concerts, events of any kind, bars, parks, in nature walks, sightseeing, hanging out, meeting people, cooking, staying at home, having a party, listening to music, singing drunk, all that which can lead to something unexpected! Hopefully good though.

Music, Movies, and Books

Fat Freddy's Drop for partys
Long Beach Dub Allstars and Sublime, for skating
Dirty Heads, for remembering good times
Beatles, for many many things
Tom Jobim João Gilberto, for having a girl staying the night
Matisyahu, for getting in touch with my soul
Jack Johnson, for traveling and many good times
The Zombies and Nat King Cole, for falling in love
Thats my relation to music, which is also part of my occupation.
About movies, I very much enjoy documentaries, as they are very enlighting, for instance Zeitgeist II and III and brilliant. Also, Dub Echoes, about dub music, Do the Right Thing (Spike Lee's) got me in touch with my black cause fighter side, haha lets say I admire the black attitude a lot.
I dont have patience to read books, School has traumatized me! Also, I'm internet generation, isn't that what they say?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I survived two weeks in Gold Coast's (Australia) Schoolies with a leg infection.
I've seen Sgt. Peppers and Magical Mistery Tour played live between 4h30 and 8h in the morning. (by Beatles 4 Ever in São Paulo)
I've moshed into the crowd on Matisyahu's concert in São Paulo.
I did a 100 meter downhill on a baby's car. I was 16. It hurted lots.
I bungee jumped 134mts on a valley in south new zealand.
Enough of "I this I that". >:[
