About Me

Greetings and salutations!!
I am a happy, enthusiastic and friendly colombian. I am 22 years old and love soccer, biking and hiking. I enjoy exploring, experiencing new things and meeting new people.

I am doing an academic exchange in Milwaukee, WI which will finish at the end of June. Then, I’ll be around the East Coast in USA (Washington D.C., New York city, Boston) before I go back to Bogota.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to keep living new experience, learning new things, meeting new people and having fun with them. Of course, it will allow me to share ideas, seeing different point of view and making connections. I consider that CS is a true meeting point of diverse cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite book is La vorágine (José Eustasio Rivera). I like one hundred years of solitude (Gabo), Les misérables (Victor Hugo), The Street Lawyer ( John Grisham) and Harlequin's Costume (Leonid Yuzefovich).

Se7en is my favorite movie but also I like The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Transformers and Black Panther.

I have broad tastes in music, so I listen to pop, rock, bachata, merengue, salsa, vallenato and electronic music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I grew up in a farm, so I used to ride cows and bulls like horses. I went scuba diving in San Andres Island, I swam in Amazon river and went rafting on the Fonce river. As a Universidad Nacional de Colombia student I taught Math in an indigenous community.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would like to share my life experience of life, my thoughts about Colombian education and culture. I know how to cook some typical Colombian dishes.
