CURRENT MISSION

learn a few more languages (french, italian, german, maybe some eastern european!!), get my masters degree in linguistics, travel all around this crazy and lovely Europe!!! plus, I believe we are always tring to find ourselves and who we really are =)

ABOUT ME

I suppose I`m a very easy going person! I`m always excited and eager to do things with my friends... I`m a very friendly and warm person and I try my best so that my friends can have a good time while they`re with me. I am quite attached to my family and friends, so I always try to spend time with them! I love going out, meeting new people, having a coffee (lots of coffee!!), enjoy some music, sightseeing, etc.

PHILOSOPHY

Basically, love the others as you love yourself... Treat everybody the way you`d like to be treated!
I believe kindness brings more kindness, so I try to be nice, gentle and kind to everyone =)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined now in July 2012, but I`ve been attending to meetings and gatherings since a while ago, when I got in Dublin (2011)... I`ve been going to games night, pubs and some activities (pillow fight was a lot of fun!! hahaha)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Still haven`t hosted anyone or been hosted, but I`m willing to host as soon as I`m back to Brazil!! (prob Aug/Sep).

Interests

I am totally passionate about music (specially trip hop, jazz/lounge/chill out, some rock...), different cultures (I`m crazy about getting to know Eastern Europe!), languages (specially English, couldn`t imagine my life without it!!), cars...
I love going to pubs, enjoying some nice music, meeting new people, going out for a nice dinner (or cooking one =D), having some wine/coffee/tea...
Nowadays I`m focused on getting a masters degree (Linguistics or so) and traveling Europe!

I looove trip hop! My favorite band is Hooverphonic and a few of the others: Goldfrapp, Morcheeba, Crustation, Lunascope, Shine.
From long ago: Dido, Norah Jones, Duffy, Seal, Amy Winehouse, Michael Buble, Simply Red.
Some jazzy/groovy/lounge stuff I`ve been listening a lot: Parov Stelar (brilliant!!!!!), Pretty Lights, The Glitch Mob, Zofka, DJ Okawari, Smolik...

Recently I`ve been trying to watch european movies, specially french ones! I love adventure, comedy, action, drama. I am a huge fan of stories involving Middle Ages and Egypt!
I love The count of Monte Cristo, Lord of the Rings, The Mummy, Shawshank Redemption, The Bourne Trilogy, Tristan and Isolde and others...

I love reading about adventures and everything that can increase my knowledge, such as history and mithology (big fan of all those fantastic spooky stuff, like Dracula, Transylvania!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the order they happened:
- In 09 I was sent on a business trip to England (I was 20!)... It was really awesome!!
- Moved to Dublin, Ireland in 2011... Huuuuge experience!! Grew up a lot!
- Went to a Hooverphonic concert in Antwerp. While looking for the theatre, I ask an information for these folks on the street... It ends up that they were part of manager and then... I got an after-party pass... meet the band... oh my!! couldnt believe hahaha!! =D
