My name is Rafaela Martinez, I'm Brazilian, I'm 26 years old and I've been a lawyer for 3 years now.
I have Spanish nationality and I´ve always dreamed of living in Spain to achieve fluency in the language.
Earlier this year I decided to take a short break in my career in Brazil, and I took advantage of the fact that a longtime friend of mine came to study in Spain, so I came to Madrid, where we live together.

I've always wanted to travel around the world and know as many places as possible, and now that I'm living in Madrid I really feel that I can fulfill some of my dreams.

Before I moved to Europe, I had never heard of couchsurfing, and, to be honest, the idea of ​​staying at the house of a complete stranger had never crossed my mind. But after meeting some people who did this and loved the experience i began to see it as a possibility not only to spend less, but to meet new people who live in places that I have always dreamed of meeting and that can share their knowledge and experiences with me.

I really think this can be a much more interesting and remarkable way of getting to know the world!!!
