I lived in Hawai'i for three months and it was the most wonderful and powerful experience I've ever had in my life. Those islands has a really special energy that can recharge your soul. There is so much life, that you can feel the island breath!
I totally recommend a trip to Hawai'i and if you have the opportunity, try some hula classes to understand all the magic behind the volcanoes and history of each Island.
