ABOUT ME

We are a couple of adventurers! I'm Rafa, 23 years old, and my boyfriend is Lucas, 25 years old.
We're both dance teachers. We felt in love for folk dances (and for each other!) in a great festival which promotes trad-folk music and dance as a privileged means of learning, generation exchange, knowledge and culture. It's an important part of us! So, with the CS experience we hope to learn more dances, talk with other professors and share our knowledge!!
We live in a big farm, with many animals and great garden. We're trying to understand the traditional way of living! We milk our goats, we make cheese, we build stuff! Well, isn't easy, but it's very rewarding!
In our free time, we cook a lot! We have tons of recipe books and we're always searching for new recipes, because we like to try different food from different countries!
We love to travel and have crazy adventures!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Until now we just couch, and we never host! Although, we are associated at another kind of hosting programs as WWOOFing, HelpX and Workaway! We always need help at the farm and our place is quite far from the city! So if you want to come anyway and help us at the farm, send us a private message!

Music, Movies, and Books

All kind of folk/traditional music. We see lots of movies, but we really like epic stories and cartoons. And we read all kind of books, but once more epic romances are our favorites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Helping at a little lamb birth; watching fireflies in our bedroom in a Spring night and dancing a mazurka in Ephesus Theatre ruins :)

Teach, Learn, Share

We teach Folk Dances! And we want to learn even more of those! So we can teach lots of portuguese dances, and also some from the rest of the Europe.
We're great cookers, we can show you a little bit of the portuguese and german cuisine! :)
