About Me
Salut, Olá, Cheers
I’m Rafa. I’m 22 and been living in Marseille for three years. Born and raised in Brazil, all the paths lead me to to France a few years ago. I'm currently on a gap year before starting a masters in sustainable development of cities and territory. I'm working part-time in an organic bakery (which means lots of french bread around the house)
I love trying vegetarian and vegan food and I’m slowly getting into cooking. As every Brazilian I love coffee and would be glad to share one (or a beer!). I’m trying to get into meditation and sport and my goal for the next few months is getting back with spanish 🤸🏻♂️
Travelling became quite complicated since last year due to the busy college + work routine. As we like the community-living lifestyle and couchsurfing allowed us to live beautiful moments since the last few years, we'd like to host friendly travelers that have chosen to come to Marseille. I live in a shared flat with three other friendly people.
We're all very easy going, talkative, LGBT friendly.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Through couchsurfing I discovered a whole new way to experience travelling: sharing, talking, taking time to meet people and see somewhere new through their perspective. I've had the chance to host a few people in our shared flat, and then of being a guest a few times in France and Italy. Each experience was unique and I was constantly surprised by how open and welcoming people can be. It makes me want to give a bit of my time and energy back to the community.
