Join Couchsurfing to see Raffaela’s full profile. It’s free!
Making myself feel home in Austria while still exploring the world.
Spontaneous, curious, bubbly, open minded, sportive and full of energy! Always searching for the adventure, never take the easy way, challenges keep me alive, spend more time in the mountains than anywhere else, love being on a plane, wanna learn how to fly a helicopter, lying on the beach makes me bored, wanna see the whole world, love mangos, enjoy traveling without a plan and loving and enjoying life!
Enjoy life and live. Only get a job you really enjoy and don't let a job you don't like rule your life.
And stop thinking too much. Just do what feels right.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have come to the point where I can't imagine traveling without couchsurfing anymore. All the people I have met through cs have broadened my mind in a way, let me see the world differently and brought me forward in many ways. For me it's the most adventurous, the most real and fun way to discover a new place.
traveling / mountain sports like rock climbing, speed hiking, trail and mountain running, mountainbiking and skitouring / cooking and trying out new food / languages / people / learning / wine / adventures / teaching / exploring / camping / nature / mountains / snorkeling / slacklining / trying out different working styles / entrepreneurship / team leading / everything new / the world.
- good food
- mountain sports
- different workingstyles
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I am not picky except when it comes to folk music, techno and heavy metal.
Movies: I'm not really into watching tv, but what I like anyway are documentaries and sport movies like the first ascent or the sharp end. The Ellen Show is fun to watch too.
I don't read any books cause it makes me fall asleep, unfortunately. But I do manage to read through sport magazins and travel guides ;)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There are more than one I wanna mention:
I Saw a volcanic eruption in indonesia
Desert crossing of the Wahiba sands in Oman
Camping on top of a mountain and watching the sunrise while sitting in the sun and looking onto a blanket of fog.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach how to make Kaiserschmarrn, a traditional Austrian dish.
