**Sorry, I wrote this profile when I signed up to CS and been too lazy to update it since -- then again, kinda cool reading this from time to time (wow but I was enthusiastic about this site - to be honest nowadays I use airbnb rather than CS - both because it was hard finding hosts and simply b/c I'm older / travel with my gf) ***

ABOUT ME

oh boy - what to say? ... I'm originally from Poland (Warsaw) but by now I've lived more than half my life in Canada (Toronto) .. I'm subscribing to the "work to live not live to work" adage - keeping that in mind, I occupy my time by playing various sports (soccer, tennis, v-ball), hiking, rock-climbing, going for live shows, spending time with friends, camping and - main reason I found myself here - would like to do some more traveling .. I've been to a few places - and discovered that's a very effective way of discovering how many places I haven't been to (I can't seem to go on a trip without someone recommending another place to go to!) - I want to see them too!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

well, I'm still brand-spanking new to this site so it's early to tell but, so far, I've couchsurfed to Chicago and now I'm telling anyone interested what a good experience that was and recommending to them that they try it out also - ie. spreading the word I guess ... I hope to couchsurf some more and I'll try to make my couch available to people interested in visitin Toronto

.. sorry, to lazy to update the entire thing but since I joined: surfed in Chicago, Singapore & Poland, hosted once, attended the odd CS event ... but still feel 'new' since I only do this occasionaly
