ABOUT ME

Well, many friends of mine consider myself pretty open-minded about all kinds of subjects. I like passionated people whose the aim is sharing their values too. I can't stand agressive and arrogant people who believe themselves above the others, and cold or double-faced persons.

PHILOSOPHY

My only reason to live is to push over my knowledge boundaries and personal experiences. I don't care about what people think, I just dare the impossible and try to transport crowds through my musical pictures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been to Malta three times with Couchsurfing, in order to discover fully my roots. Being hosted there is a kind of turning up which has allowed me to know more about the real travel, the one on a Couch!

Interests

Guitar, photography, work-out, reading newspapers and french poetry. I pretty enjoy reading Dostoievski and the Russian theatre like Anton Tchekhov.

Music, Movies, and Books

My personnal music taste description would take so much time, as I play the guitar..In general, I love pop/folk music such as Jack Johnson, Katie Melua, Angus & Julia Stone, John Butler Trio and other famous bands. But I enjoy above all independant guitar players such as Bob Dylan, Chet Atkins, Jerry Reed, Blind Blake, Reverend Gary Davis, Buster B Jones and most of the successors from these amazing American country and ragtime names from Nashville, just like the Australian fingerpicking guitar player Tommy Emmanuel, and the French Marcel Dadi. I also enjoy these American beach music, such as the great Speedy West and Jimmy Bryant, the first to have played country music on the Electric guitar during the 60's.
The blues is without any doubt the root of every music which appeared since the last 50 years.. BB King, Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, Freddie King...they are my spiritual fathers.
What else...Mhhh...Instrumental rock like the biggest Joe Satriani, Paul Gilbert, and many guitar heroes like SRV, Hendrix, EVH, Yngwie Malmsteen, Angus Young, Slash and many others..
To be honest, I do think the best thing would be to talk about this general topic in the real life...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The day I've been swept by a big wave while a surf session that scratched my arm till it bled...in a shark zone!!!
