ABOUT ME
In a nutshell:
I am very laid-back indoors person who enjoys books, movies, music, computer games, art, cooking, baking, programming and computer science in general. On the occasions I am outdoors, I enjoy grand architecture and extraordinary natural or human made attractions.
I do have double colored hair (triple if you count a red beard!) but here are some photos of me so you'll be able to recognize me

I think the album is visible to anyone who has a Facebook account.
In addition to all of the above, I would like to mention that I am cleanly and a non-smoker.
PHILOSOPHY
Probably "It'll work out" which is the standard Icelandic philosophy. It is really descriptive of my attitude.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I decided to sign up so I could try to do some couch surfing on my travels in the summer of 2013. Before I departed for Europe this year, I was able to host one surfer. It was a fun experience and I would have loved to host some more but my living arrangements prevented it.
After I get back home from my travels it is highly unlikely that I will be able to host couch surfers because of lack of room. However, that doesn't mean I can't hang out, answer questions, suggest places to see, suggest places to shop for food, or give a tour of the night life. So don't be afraid to hit me up -- I'll be glad to be of help!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None. There's a first time for everything and hopefully after this summer I can share my experience with you guys!
Interests
Programming, computers, all sorts of music and music making, being a penny-pincher because I have no money, enjoying art and nature, playing video games, reading books and going to the second hand or thrift store for some sweet deals!

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies:
I enjoy a lot of movies but I might want to mention The Room because it is one of the few movies which I have watched more than once.
Music:
When it comes to music I listen to almost everything. You might find me listening to anything from Brahms to the Backstreet Boys to Skrillex to Necrophagist - most typically something very melodic and rhythmic. However, if I had to choose one genre it would have to be, albeit an umbrella term, metal.
Books:
I read all kinds of books and living so close to a thrift store really helps feed my lust for literature.
DISCLAIMER
I have read Game of Thrones and I promise not to spoil it unless you really want me to.
