About Me
Hi! I’m Rachel — an early childhood educator, traveler, and lifelong learner living with my soulmate. 🤗
I’m originally from a multicultural background, and I’ve lived in places like Tehran, Stockholm, Kabul, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, & Montreal — that has shaped curiosity, care, and deep respect for diversity. 🤍🏳️🌈
I've completed a masters degree in Education and love doing research in the field. I also enjoy asking questions to discover how others live, think, and dream. 🤔💬💃🤩🥂
I enjoy the simple things: good conversations, leisurely walks, and experimenting with new recipes. 🌎☕️🐜 When I’m a host or a guest, I’m always friendly, thoughtful, and happy to help around the house. 🧹✨
I don’t smoke, I drink occasionally, and though I have no dietary restrictions, I prefer vegetarian food. I don’t have pets—yet I always stop to greet yours! 🐾
I’m looking forward to crossing paths, sharing stories, and learning from everyday lives and rich cultural traditions. 🥂🧀🩶

Teach, Learn, Share
I love exchanging languages and stories—from sharing my multicultural insights to learning local traditions firsthand. With traditional Persian dishes and learning a new cooking tip from a host, my kitchen and heart are always open to exchange (especially how to reduce white carbs, sugar, and salt).
Teaching early years education and exploring diverse teaching methods is my passion.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My partner and I speak English, Turkish, Persian, and Sorani Kurdish fluently, and we're learning: French, German, Spanish, and Arabic.
With a Master’s in education and experience from Tehran, Stockholm, Kabul, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, and recently Montreal I bring fascinating perspectives on teaching and life.
I’m a passionate cook who loves experimenting with traditional Persian recipes, making them healthier while preserving the rich taste. I love all vegetables and make salads of all kinds.
