About Me

Hi, I’m Rahim—an urban planner, ecolodge host, and poetic soul living in Mashhad, Iran. My life revolves around designing spaces that feel alive: places where tradition, nature, and human connection meet. I host guests in a cozy ecolodge that’s more than just a place to sleep—it’s a canvas for stories, flavors, and shared moments.

I believe hospitality is an art form. I serve tea brewed over a samovar, offer homemade breakfasts under vine-covered patios, and guide guests through half-day urban tours that reveal the soul of the city. I love listening, learning, and co-creating experiences that feel personal and real.

My dream? To relocate to Spain and continue building spaces that invite warmth, dialogue, and cultural exchange. I’m drawn to its metropolises and quiet suburbs alike—places where I can blend Iranian roots with Mediterranean rhythms.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m here because I believe travel is about connection—not just places, but people. As a host and urban planner, I love welcoming guests into spaces that feel soulful and alive. Couchsurfing lets me meet curious travelers, share stories over tea, and offer a glimpse into local life that goes beyond guidebooks.

Whether you're passing through Mashhad or staying longer, I’d love to help you experience the city through its flavors, its rhythms, and its people. Hosting is my way of building bridges—between cultures, ideas, and hearts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I designed and built a sustainable urban ecolodge in Mashhad that blends architecture, culture, and community—and it’s become a living space for travelers, artists, and locals to connect. Alongside that, I’ve published two books on Amazon: Urban Ecolodge Setup Manual V.011 and Ecological City Ft. Intelligent Metropolises V.021. Both explore how cities and hospitality can evolve through ecological thinking and human-centered design. Creating spaces—and ideas—that bring people together across cultures is the most amazing journey I’ve taken so far.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I love sharing what I’ve learned about designing ecolodges, sustainable urban planning, and creating soulful travel experiences. I can also teach you how to brew Persian tea, prepare a traditional breakfast, or write poetic descriptions of places that move you.

Learn: I’m always curious about how others live, think, and create. I’d love to learn more about Spanish culture, local crafts, and the personal philosophies that shape your journey. Every traveler brings a new perspective—and I’m here to listen.

Share: I share stories, space, and silence. Whether it’s a walk through Mashhad’s hidden corners, a quiet moment in the garden, or a lively conversation over saffron rice, I believe the best parts of travel are the ones we share.
