About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My current mission is to spread peace and love worldwide by promoting global friendship and nature conservation. We have too much hatred, war, and environmental destruction. Let's make it better, together, for the next generations.
ABOUT ME
I am a father of two kids. I might be a bit quiet at the beginning, but I will be getting talkative in a few minutes. I am an open-minded and adaptable person. After I read some references, I found that I am a "multipotentialite", a kind of person who has so many interests and potential. As I observe myself, yes, I have many interests and a basic skill set; I am interested in arts, education, environment, culture, languages, youth issues, and many more. And, I am fairly skillful in singing, cooking, teaching, drawing, etc.
I love social and voluntary services a lot. I have been doing many volunteer works since I was in high school. I have been volunteering while traveling, both in Indonesia and abroad. It's amazing how life can be so colorful with all the diversity. I am always excited to meet new people from another part of the globe and share life stories and experiences.
Currently I am running a boat school called The Floating School. You my check it on istagram @thefloatingschool It's my social initiative that I am doing on my island. So I teach kids on the island for free. I think that's the only thing that I can give back to my community after being so blessed with opportunities that I have in my life.
I also collect postcards so I am up for postcards swap.
PHILOSOPHY
1. Individually, we change ourselves, together, we change the world
2. The strangers are friends that we just haven't met yet :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Met some CS folks in France in 2009, experienced the great hospitality of the Couchsurfer, and got myself signed up!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I really love the idea of Couchsurfing University, a school where everyone's a student and everyone's a teacher. It always amazes me on how it works! So far, my experience is all positive +++ I have been a good friend to almost all people that I met through Couchsurfing, especially the ones I hosted and the ones who hosted me. Mostly I meet them again somewhere on this planet by any chance. It's cool!
Interests
I am interested in arts (music, photography, and drawing), voluntary service, football (although I don't play it), youth activities, discussion (politics, religion, social and environmental issue, economics, etc), traveling, cooking and collecting postcards (deltiology).

Music, Movies, and Books
I watch all kinds of movies, but not animation. Recently I watched many Netflix series, such as Suits, Wednesday, The Strange Things, etc.
I listen to all kinds of music, butnot hardcore music. But I love songs from Michael Jackson, Boyz II Men, and Indonesian traditional songs.
I read any kind of book, both fiction and non-fiction.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Fasting while traveling for almost a month in Malaysia, Cambodia, and Vietnam.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach Indonesian language and culture if you are interested. I am good at PowerPoint so if you are up for a bit serious thing... this will be a fun thing to do as well.
But one thing I will do for sure is to cook Indonesian dishes for my host. I am a good home cook, anyway.
Life in Indonesia is crazy and amazing at the same time. And my volunteer experience for the past 10 years is also spectacular. I'd love to share it all with you as it may spark new ideas.
