Hi I'm Rahul, youngest of three, currently 24 years of age and from Singapore, though I'm currently studying in Stockholm. Some of my hobbies include reading, writing (poetry and prose), stand-up comedy, hiking and drinking (tequila, whiskey and beer). Currently in my third year of law school. I do not consume meat on Tuesdays and Fridays and my favourite show has to be Mad Men, though it's got close competition from True Detective (Season 1).

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Signed up for Couchsurfing back in 2020 but life took a bad turn with the Covid-19 pandemic. Recently this year I've gotten back to travelling, having gone to Phuket twice and South Korea once. So far in 2023, I have been in Sweden for six months on student exchange, and having been encouraged by the joy I felt backpacking and travelling in Thailand and South Korea last year, I have been taking occasional trips to countries in Europe (which I have never visited). Having just finished my exchange programme, I will be embarking on a month of backpacking throughout Southern Europe. The idea of meeting new people and being shown the intimate side of the places I'll visit really appeals to me, as an aspiring backpacker. And let's face it, I'm too broke for luxury hotels and resorts:)
