When traveling, we like to immerse ourselves in the culture that we’re in. It’s difficult to get that experience when staying in hotels or other rental facilities since they lack the sense of personal connection with people who live in the cities we visit.

We also like to hear from our hosts about the best way to see their city and learn about the FOOD!

We are both avid movie watchers! This includes many genres although I personally dislike horror/thriller type movies, but my wife enjoys watching them. Favorites include: animated films, especially from Hayao Miyazaki, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and the Marvel franchise.

Music-wise, I tend to prefer hip hop but am still able to enjoy other genres of music. My wife listens to pop and enjoys doing karaoke.

Canyoneering in the Philippines has to be one of the most memorable experiences of my life. Would definitely recommend it.

My wife is an emergency dept nurse and has even volunteered in Haiti for a medical mission. She loves her career and has many stories to tell!

I would love to talk to our hosts about everything and anything. We both scuba dive occasionally and love nature hikes.

My wife enjoys cooking and can teach you the things she knows how to cook, and would also love to learn how to cook new dishes from you!
