ABOUT ME

Hello! I am a kind, friendly, respectful 34 year old. I love photography, traveling, hiking, camping, other outdoor activities, and cooking. I work for a non-profit conservation organization. I live for traveling to new places whether it is the coral reefs in Belize, the Mayan Ruins in Mexico, the Amazon Rainforest, the beaches in the US Virgin Islands, or seeing the lemors in Madagascar (my next hopeful journey). My passion is doing whatever I can to make a difference in this world - with the environment, animal welfare and human rights. I am lucky enough to be able to do this daily with my job. I am non-judgmental and compassionate - I believe everyone has the right to be themselves.

*swam with penguins in the Galapagos
*lived with a Mayan family in Belize for 3 months (I also learned Yucatec Maya - Bix a beel?)
*slept under the stars in the Amazon rainforests of Peru
*watched sea turtles nest in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands
*got kissed by sea lions in the Galapagos

I love to cook and I am always willing to share this. Chances are I will cook for you (or with you if you like to cook too!) if you are willing to let me stay at your place! My specialties are sundried tomato and roasted garlic pizza, chimichangas, and chocolate mousse. I would also be interested in talking/sharing about photography, traveling experiences, botany, conservation, and/or scuba diving.
