Ultimately... to save the Universe.
I grew up in the Windy City but have always had a hard time staying still. Traveled a lot with my mother when I was younger and took the habit of being on a plane into my adult life.
Now I embark on a series of creative endeavors to keep my feet planted on the ground... for as long as possible.
So much work to be done in the clouds though...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm not much for meetings and it's probably been over a year since I've been to any couch-surfing events.
But I did just move into a new place with a nice gigantic-sized couch in the fancy part of town...
I think the Couchsurfing experience here in Barcelona is a little different than other places in the world. When I was first moving here I found it really frustrating trying to find a place.
That said there are some good people in this community (as well as a bunch of crazy zealots) you just have to dig.
Hosting has been a mixed bag. Until now I've only hosted two people. One was excellent, and I think the other one was a lunatic who escaped from a convent, stole my money, and used it to buy weed.
Needless to say I screen people pretty carefully now. :)
