About Me

Sometimes I can be really confused, actually... most of the times I don't know exactly what I want but when I do, I really look for it. The best example is when I quit my studies and I had no idea what to do but here I'm, out of the blue I decided that I want to move out of Brazil and I came to the Netherlands.
I also see myself as a independent person, emotional, financial and physically. I mean... I can do whatever I need by my own but if you wanna help me, it can be good, I'll appreciate.
I'm terrible to express myself and talk about me so just to fill up this profile made me really proud of myself. I mean... Really! It's like: "tell me one song you like" and then no good songs comes to me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of meeting people around the world and sharing cultures and whatever you have to share. I like the new and unknown. I wish I could host people but unfortunately I can't because I don't own a place to offer.

Interests

I love being spontaneous so going to the center and accidentally meet someone is really nice, walking without destination is a perfect way to meet new places and specially benchs (Netherlands has benchs all around and hidden, we just need to find them).
If I'm not in a bad period and you say "let's go?" I might say "let's go!" or "Bora? Bora! Vamo? Vamo! É isso? É isso! Então demorô parabalá"

Music, Movies, and Books

I love acoustic music, I don't listen much Forró (Brazilian genre) but if I have the opportunity to dance it, it's my pleasure, MPB is also really good, I love songs that plays with the words and their meanings.

I never read much books but I really liked Olhai os lírios do campo from Érico Veríssimo and Eu sou o mensageiro from Markus Suzak.
Now I'm enjoying The hunchback of Notre-Dame.

I'm a terrible person to look for movies. I always decide to watch one that at the end I didnt really like it. But I like action movies, comedy and dramas based on real stories specially old ones.
I'm better talking about series I liked and those are:
First of all: Black mirror of course!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ will watch again and again
Then 3%, The 100, The 4400, How I met your mother and just started The crown

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I moved to the Netherlands and definitely don't regret.
One day I was living in a great area, with canals beside the street so every house had your own bridge and that street had a lot of life, trees all around, ducks, fishes, swans and it was autumn, really cold (at least for me) when I saw a really old couple in a Tandem, and the basket from the bike with their walking stick. In the moment I wished I could have take a picture but don't took me long to realize that memories wouldn't be so good if we could register everything. Even though I like photographies, sometimes it's better to not take them even if you have the opportunity.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not a real confident person so I'm not sure if I could teach you something, unless you wanna learn Portuguese, how to make brigadeiros (Brazilian sweet) or skating, not that I can do it but I'll let you hold my hand while you try out hahaha

But if you don't speak Dutch, that's fine. I could be interested to learn something I don't even know that exists hahaha

We could share beers, shots, ice cream, popcorn, thoughts, music, dance floor, silence, bike, a bench or whatever that surprise us or not.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Laughs, why not? And a lot of talk (if that's what you like). I really do talk a lot, but I can be also a good listener.
