For me Travelling is not about checking into historic monuments, for me its totally about meeting new people, Learn new cultures and especially new languages.

For me the best part about travelling to new places is , sitting in the center of a scenic beauty and talking with a complete stranger about each others culture and breaking stereotypes.

I have love for new cultures and languages and meeting people with different aspects of life and sharing experiences.

I guess staying in hotels will never give you the real experience of the culture and lifestyle of that place, but staying with a localite would surely do.

I back pack and travel, so i know that awesome feeling when a complete stranger becomes your best friend for that journey by giving you a lift or a overnight stay.
