ABOUT ME

Hey hi guys. I am new to couchsurfing and was introduced to it a short time ago when I was in Japan. I like meeting and hanging out with new people. It allows me to get to know the person, to understand the culture of their country, and at the same time gives me company to visit new places.

I am a mechanical engineering student and like building and repairing stuff. I love the field of robotics and automation and generally spend my time designing and coding new robots. I am currently working on an exoskeleton robot (like the one used in movie Avatar :D, ok enough of exaggeration, it's much simpler than that).

PHILOSOPHY

Well at the age of 22, I believe that the most important things in my life are to travel to as many new places as possible, make amazing friendships during this time, understand new cultures, read as much as possible and try to learn something new everyday.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently in Hangzhou, China doing an internship at Zhejiang university and would love to meet new people, hang around and explore China. I want to go hiking to several places around Hangzhou or Shanghai.

Whenever I went to a new place, I went as a tourist, with a predetermined schedule and with known people. But now I want to explore places as a traveler. No set itinerary, no set group of people. I believe that couchsurfing suits my aims perfectly.
