I live and work in Silicon valley. I am always surrounded by technology. But lately every now and then I want to escape it. Escape to Nature. Escape to a simpler past.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most times before I visit a place I google up the images to save myself from getting disappointed. But once on a very cold December day a friend and I set out on a hike in the Needles district of Canyonlands national park in Utah not knowing what to expect.
We had the park pretty much to ourselves. When I first laid my eyes on the scenery I was blown away. Red rock formations with a dusting of snow. The surprise element amplified the experience. I was Alice in Wonderland.
