Well hello! I'm am looking forward to cultural experiences from May 2012. After 14 years I have decided to stop using all the excuses under the sun (i.e. work, house etc...) and follow my dream of travelling the world and hopefully find memorable experiences, friends and inspiration along the way. I love meeting people and listening to other peoples experiences. I love to laugh and like to surround myself with positive vibes rather than negativity. I am a Vegetarian, but love to eat and I’m certainly not a preacher.....each to their own I say! As an Environment Manager, I am also interested in Sustainable Development in the communities I will be visiting. I can’t wait to meet some of you on my travels and pick up advice and views on what to see on the way, oh and not forgetting the opportunity to sleep on some of your couches!

PHILOSOPHY

There was a time when I was living to just pay my mortgage, i was breathing but wasn't alive. My philosiphy now is "you only live once...make sure you really, really live it"

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a first time surfer, and will be travelling to the Far East, Australasia and South America from May 2012. I would love to find CS hosts in these areas and CS members who would like to show me around or meet up for coffee or a drink when I'm there.Recommendations of places to visit will be highly appreciated! I would love to host, but at the moment its just not feasible. However, if anyone wants to meet up for a coffee or drink in London before May 2012, i'll be more than happy to hang out.

I have spent a few days at a girls orphanage in India, playing with and feeding them. This and my other experiences in India made me realise, how people can have nothing yet be so happy. Inspirational!
