Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I enjoy traditional Uzbek music—it gives me a sense of connection with my roots and peace of mind.
Books: One of the most powerful books I’ve read is Why Nations Fail. It changed how I think about institutions, economics, and development.
Movies: My favorite movies are Interstellar and The Pursuit of Happyness—both inspire me to dream big and never give up.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I left a secure government job to pursue my passion for evidence-based policymaking and moved abroad to continue my studies. It was a scary decision, but it completely changed my life for the better.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you about Uzbekistan—its culture, people, and history. I’m also happy to share insights about economics and public policy. I’d love to learn about your lifestyle, values, and the small things that make your culture unique.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My time, my respect, and good conversations. I can also share stories about Central Asia, help around the house, and offer perspectives from a region that’s still unknown to many.
