ABOUT ME

I moved to Milwaukee, WI since I was 17. I went to university for French, spending 6 months in Paris. I fell in love with the feeling of having everything I have on my back, and the life of a traveler.
I became TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certified in Costa Rica. In September 2011, I moved back to France- as an English Language Assistant. I lived in Saint-Etienne and worked as an au pair as well, and loved being totally immersed in the French culture. I came back to the States in order to travel again.. Now I'm traveling again- now I'm living in Guadeloupe, a French department in the Caribbean.

I've couchsurfed before, and I'm excited to see how it could work in the Caribbean.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed in Geneva with a wonderful guy, we talked of all things, and he introduced me to raclette and speculoos ice cream!
I stayed in Annecy with a lovely lady, who showed me all there is to see in this beautiful town, and why I'd love to live there :)

Interests

I love traveling with everything you need on your back. I like warm beaches, good food, good drinks, good music and good, honest, sincere people. I like hiking and discovering the world in a new way. I love to cook and try new dishes. I like Bikram yoga, watching movies, cheesy TV shows, books you can't put down...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked the Grand Canyon. Twice.
Biked down a volcano in Hawaii.
Camped in a downpour in the Hoh Rainforest.
Berlin.
Boiling Lake was awesome!
Going on a 50-state (or, at least, 48) road trip soon!
