I am a 63 year old lady. I am the mother of three adult children. I married when I was 20 years old. I was divorced after 26 years of marriage. I then moved to Johannesburg, South Africa, where my children was also situated at that time. We are a close-knit family and love to spend time together. I have two, lovely grand children (Werner - 6 years old and Isabella - 4 years old) I am also their nanny, teacher, driver, supporter. My daughter and her husband have to be on the road often because of their job.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After my divorce, I went to London to experience life differently. As I was quite young when I married, I thought let me do the things that I could not do at that time, when I was so young. So off I went to London and I lived and worked and studied in London for 4 years, 2003 - 2007. I turned 50 in London! The beginning of my new life! The decision to venture to London was a window of opportunity which I grabbed and I will never be sorry, as I cherish that wonderful experience. I have met wonderful people in vibrant London. London has opened my eyes for all life has to offer us, even older people or divorced people, like me. It is all out there, we should only jump into this whole adventure.

I can just be myself and I think I'm a friendly, helpful kind of person. I like to describe myself as being a positive person, seeing the glass half full. I'm a keen dishwasher, cleaner and helper in and around the kitchen. I am a mother and a grand mother, so naturally we are are born managers. To assist people comes easily.
