About Me

Happy owner at a bookshop soon to be opened, in love with books, arts and rock'n'roll. Studied language and literature and cultural management, worked in PR and Communications at the local University, then at Timisoara 2021 - candidate city for European Capital of Culture, now learning - together with my best friend- how to open and own our independent bookshop.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I actually used to stay only with my nose in the books and didn't travel much, but recently I opened up my mind and became more interested in traveling and meeting new people.
I have a room to offer, my sister moved out to university in a different town and we thought to give it to people travelling to Timisoara. I never lived in another city, I love Timisoara and I don't see myself moving from it, so I am a trustworthy local :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Hard to choose. From the classics Janis, Cash, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Whitesnake, Metallica, Savatage, Skid Row to my favourites - The 69 Eyes. Also some new indie bands, but mostly rock'n'roll. I also listen to classical music when I read and need to relax.

Well, from Lord of the Rings to Modigliani - which I saw more than 10 time - to 90's movies, like Burton's or anything by Tim Burton, to Cohen Brothers, David Lynch, Lars von Trier, Almodovar.

With books it's the hardest. I reread Michel Houellebecq 3 times and Bohumil Hrabal and loved, adored John Williams with Stoner. I read and reread Sofi Oksanen, Oscar Wilde, Patti Smith, Jonathan Franzen, Michael Siskin, Zeruya Shalev, Allen Ginsberg.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Croatia, England, France, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Montenegro, Serbia
