Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hosting travelers used to be a sacred duty, in most cultures, the stranger, the foreigner, ξενοσ, was protected and treated with consideration, as a vulnerabile person. In our days, it would be difficult to host for free all the tourists, but i think its disgustig to make travel Impossible for those who cannot afford a hotel. So CS its a good way to help. On the other hand, it offers a way to know people and have a nice short friendship, sometimes even a lasting friendship.
