I'm 27 and a renewable energy engineer from Australia! My friends describe me as the most relaxed guy they know. I love outdoors activities (cycling, slacklining, hiking, camping), live music (open airs), and really enjoy the little things (a beer with friends, or a good coffee).

I believe in DIFTS - 'doing it for the story' - My friends think it's stupid BUT I've found this to be an amazing life philosophy. It gets you off your arse and doing exciting things ;) Also, I'm a confessed coffee-snob - so whatever city I'm in I have to find the best cup of coffee!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Wherever I am, I always try to find the local CS community; recently this included slacklining and partying with CSers in New York and going on beach road trips in Australia. I have backpacked a lot, and couchsurfed while travelling overseas and in Australia. I've had the pleasure of hosting a bunch of people at my house in Canberra. And I'm heavily involved in the Canberra CS community, where I've met dozens of amazing friends.

Roadtripping and camped for a month around the Norwegian fjords.
Experienced the arctic polar night (24hr day of night).
Driven coast-to-coast across the Australian continent.
Helped set the Irish record for number of people swimming in the sea on Christmas Day in Santa Hats.
Can solve a rubik's cube in 36 seconds xD

I always appreciate guests who make an effort with their hosts. As such, I try to reciprocate this by cooking dinner for my guests - I have a few recipes which everyone always likes ;)
